Public Adjusters Focus On Protecting Policyholders

MIAMI, FL (Nov. 13, 2013) – Daniel Odess, president of GlobalPro Recovery, recognizes the importance of having an independent, professional represent homeowners, businesses and community associations when filing insurance claims. Today at a Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) meeting at the Coral Reef Yacht Club in Miami, Licensed Public Adjusters gathered to discuss upcoming legislation and efforts to protect policyholders.

At the session, FAPIA members discussed the agenda for the state’s public adjusters at the upcoming 2014 session of the Florida Legislature. “Now, more than ever, we need to join together to support our industry in assisting policyholders in their worst time of need,” Odess said.

This was the first monthly “mixer” for Public Adjusters for the Insuring Public (PA4IP.ORG), political committee that represents public adjuster interests. The event was hosted by FAPIA member Jose Dapena and Associates. Public adjusters can make a minimum donation of $10 a month for the cause.
