CarePro Inc. was formed fifteen years ago to promote a unique product line manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana. The principals in CarePro have over 40 years of medical experience on both sides of the product line, both as a consumer and purchaser of similar products (orthopedic, sports medicine, industrial medicine) and more recently in sales, marketing and distribution of products. The two lines, Burn Care and Kold Wrap are manufactured by a small company in Elkhart. They use a unique process of adding "jelled water" to various carriers to produce a cooling effect that is sustained over a sufficient period of time to provide relief for a variety of injuries. It simply uses evaporation as a method of cooling, but achieves a longer lasting cooling effect because the "jelled" water takes much longer to evaporate and does so at a more even temperature.
		On this site, you will find more information with a more detailed description of the Kold Wrap products and more info on the Burn Care products. Currently the burn product is the more widely used of the two lines. The burn product provides much of the first aid for a burn, reduces pain, swelling and the risk of infection (the product is sterile). It is supplied in rolls for wrapping the affected area, pads for smaller areas, and specialized products: a face mask for facial burns; a sheet for body use; blanket for body use and protection from flame as well as the ability to smother flame if a person should catch fire. Many industrial settings have the blanket available at various locations for emergency purposes. They are also available in kits that can be carried to a location or stored for use in the event of an emergency. Carepro currently distributes the products in the United States and Europe. We are looking for distributors for local and larger areas of coverage that could stock the product for delivery to their customers. We are also willing to talk with interested purchasers to provide access to the products, either through a local distributor or through our drop ship capabilities.
